The house drama continues and it looks like there is no happy conclusion at this point. We now have a copy of the tenants lease which was signed July of 2010 for a term of two years. The house was on the market for about 250 days before we put an offer on it. Seems a little fishy on that timing huh? Not to mention that the seller's agent said the tenants were renting month to month when she had a copy of this lease the entire time. This lady seems to be a real piece of work. So I guess the only place we go from here is to look over the lease with a fine tooth comb to see if their are any loop holes or the owner can try to deal with the tenants and get them out. Neither of those options seem likely at this point but I guess you never know.
To add to my frustration was another day with 100 degree temps. Talk about being uncomfortable! We had a graduation party to go to this evening and ended up being outside the entire time. This pregnant girl did not glow, she sweat. It was pretty unbearable out there and I feel like I've had it for the night. We all came home and took showers and now the three boys (Michael included) are passed out upstairs. I'm going to take a few minutes to regroup and enjoy the quiet before joining them.
