Day 172- Markers

R has been using markers since before he was 2 years old and I have never had to worry about him.  He always uses them responisbly and rarely tries to draw where he isn't supposed to.  Today I wanted to take a quick shower so I set R up with his Lightning McQueen notebook and a couple of markers so that he could "write notes".  While I was in the shower he kept asking me if he could wash his hands.  I didn't realize what the problem was until I stepped out of the shower and was greeted by this:

I guess we'll call that one a parenting fail : /
