I was washing the dishes this morning when I heard R screaming and whining. Thinking the boys were fighting over a car or some other toy I marched into the living room ready to set things right. I round the corner to see C dragging R off the couch onto the floor and R crying hysterically. Yes, you read that right. The younger one was dragging the bigger one off the couch. I started yelling at C telling him it wasn't nice to knock his brother off the couch when I realized R was holding on to his arm. I lifted his sleeve and this is what I found:
Apparently C tried to get R off the couch using his teeth. When that didn't work he resorted to dragging him. *sigh* I never had a biter before and I don't want one now. I really hope this doesn't turn into a nasty habit. Unfortunately I think I better start thinking of ways to discipline a 19 (soon to be 20) month old. Something tells me I am going to have to keep my eye on C for awhile.
Here is my sweet innocent boy putting an ice pack on his booboo. Still smiling!
Showing me how C used his teeth to hurt him
The guilty party, not looking so guilty and remorseful if you ask me.
