As many times as R makes me want to scream during the day, he makes me laugh a million times more. This kid comes up with the craziest things sometimes. He doesn't always appreciate when I laugh at him but sometimes I just can't help it! Here is how our first conversation of the day went today:
R: Ooooohhh nooooooo!!! My toe is out!
Me: What happened?
R: (pointing to his foot) Somebody left the door open and my toe came out!
Me: (laughing) What do you mean?
R: See?? My toe is out! Mommy close the door and put my toe away. Please, Mommy, please!
LoL, here is what he was talking about
These feetie pajamas have been around since last winter so I can't really be upset that there is now a giant hole where someone's giant toe should be. R thought it was the worst thing ever but he ended up taking it like a champ once he started laughing with me. All morning until he got dressed I had to "close the door" and "put his toe away" (meaning I had to shove his toe back into his pajamas). Oh, the things we go through during the day!
Here he is distressed over the hole and the fact that I am cracking up at the situation.
And finally realizing that the situation (especially the way he described it!) is pretty funny after all.
