Day 21- 3 Year Checkup

Today R had his 3 year checkup.  I talked to him all week about going to the doctor's and what was going to happen there.  I thought we had reached an understanding on appropriate behavior and being brave.  Apparently I was mistaken.  There was yelling, there was screaming and there was a lot of crying.  Not just from R but from C as well.  R started and C thought it would be comforting to join his big brother in his misery.  Ugh, what a trip!

Everyone finally calmed down and R behaved like a big boy and (mostly) let the doctor check him out.  He is still on the same growth curve.  34.5 lbs (75th percentile) and 40.5" (90th percentile).  Lord knows where these gigantic children come from but I guess they are going to stay in the upper percentiles for the time being.  Maybe they actually won't be shrimpy when they start high school like mommy and daddy were lol.
