Day 98- 13 Week Ultrasound

This morning I went in for my 13 week ultrasound.  Since I had an unexpected ultrasound on Monday I knew everything was looking good in there and decided to brave the visit on my own.  With my last two pregnancies I was super nervous about the 13 week scan.  It tells you if some major defects are present.  Everything looked great at first glance and we'll have a definite answer sometime next week once they get the blood results back.  Baby was cooperating and they got the measurements pretty quickly.  We're measuring right on schedule, 12 weeks and 6 days today.  So this baby isn't a giant yet : )

The ultrasound tech tried to get a good look to see if she could tell boy or girl but we couldn't find a good angle.  It's still very early to tell and she admitted that everything kind of looks the same at this stage.  However she thought that she *might* have seen something there.  I thought I saw a little something too.  There is a very real possibility that I could be the mom of three boys come this fall!! We're trying not to think one way or the other right now since we really didn't get a good view but its fun to think how life might be.

So if its another boy which one of these clowns will he look like?? A lot of people think they look alike but to me they are completely different.
