We had an appointment this morning with a high risk specialist. C was born a month early so they thought I might be a good candidate for weekly progesterone shots. I wasn't too sure what to expect from the appointment since it was a different doctor. After waiting for quite a while we got called into the exam room and when I saw the ultrasound machine I got excited. Any chance to see the little baby makes me happy. It has been about 2 weeks since my last ultrasound so I figured the little bean would be a little bigger and that we might be able to see if it was a boy or a girl. Well we got the information we were looking for : ) Here is the latest picture. Any guesses??
To help you along here is the outfit we bought for the parents to open up and find out what we were having.
Its a GIRL!!!!! I can't even believe it. The ultrasound tech announced it was a girl and my first response was, "Are you serious?!". She laughed and said, yup its a girl. We are beyond thrilled and excited. I knew she was a girl but to actually hear it makes it seem so real. I'm 14 weeks and 6 days today so hopefully no surprise body parts pop up in the next few weeks before the anatomy scan lol. There will be no hard feelings either way but until we get another confirmation on the gender i'll be keeping all receipts on all girl items.
I should also add that she looks perfect and is measuring right on time. They don't think I'm a good candidate for the shots so that was good news too. Let's hope this little girl doesn't give us any more trouble for the rest of this pregnancy!
