We woke up this morning to a beautiful perfect day. Not a cloud in the sky, low 80s and a lovely breeze. We considered ourselves extremely lucky : ) While C took his morning nap and Grandma babysat, we took a walk with R down the street to Target. We needed to stock up on snacks and treats for the beach.
We finally made it to the beach at about 11. R was so excited and loved every second of being there. We found out quickly that C is not a beach baby. He screamed his head off when we saw the water and complained for the first 45 minutes because there was sand everywhere. He finally settled in and spent the next couple of hours playing with the sand toys and eating.
After the beach we got cleaned up and C took a late nap. Grandma cooked us a delicious dinner and the boys played around for a little while.
Overall we had a great first full day in Florida!
