Busy weekend part 2! We left the house around 8:30 this morning which in itself was no small feat. We drove down to the Philly area to celebrate the Christening for the son of some good friends. We used to dread the 3+ hour drive but we found ourselves really enjoying our time today. First of all it was quiet and we actually got to sit in one spot for more than 5 minutes at a time. We can't really recall the last time that happened for both of us. We also used the time to talk about a house we *may* put an offer in on. We spent the ride down making lists and considering possibilities. So, it was a relaxing ride but a productive one too : )
Michael volunteered me to take pictures of the Christening. I only hope I got some okay shots. Since I don't want to share pictures without permission I'll share the pretty stained glass window.
And the lovely song from the ceremony. I don't participate in the singing but the song always makes me think of my grandfather. It was his favorite song and he always used to sing it for no reason at all.
Off to get some rest before another hectic week!
